Who provides your care

The clinician who oversees your care is licensed in the state where you are at the time of your visit, so you need to be in Texas or Florida when you join a visit. In Texas, your care is overseen by Sonia Mirza, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified family nurse practitioner licensed in Texas. Visits are with our health coach, under Sonia Mirza’s supervision. You can look up a Texas nurse practitioner’s license with the Texas Board of Nursing.

Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Fawad Ahmed, and Co-Founder Sonia Mirza, APRN, FNP-BC, develop the practice’s treatment protocols. Meet the team

How telehealth visits work

  1. A free 30-minute discovery call about your symptoms and history, so we can tell you whether we can help.
  2. If it’s a fit, a full intake visit with our health coach, under clinician supervision, and testing chosen for your situation.
  3. A personalized plan, with follow-up visits to adjust it as your health changes.

Booking, intake forms and video visits happen in our client portal, run by Practice Better. Read more about how our care works and what to expect at your first visit.

Payment

We are a cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. You may use an HSA, FSA or FLEX account to pay for your visits. See our prices. You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of your costs before your care.

Conditions we focus on

We also see patients with digestive, metabolic and post-viral conditions. See all our services
